RIP Paul

Paul the octopus died. The oracle passed away on October 26th 2010. This was quite predicted that he would die before the next world cup as all octopuses live for an average of 2 years on this planet.
Paul's retirement had already been announced and he was given a decent burial in The Sea Life Centres in Oberhausan, Germany.
In my opinion, Paul must have felt no regret at all, after all he did what his job was and much more... :(

Paul the octopus was born in 2008. Well, what is great about it? I tell you it can predict the winners of any football games well before the games. It has so far predicted 14 games. 13 of Germany and 1 of Netherlands vs. Spain, finals of FIFA WC 2010. Paul says Spain are going to come out winners.
Two boxes containing tasty morsels of usually mussels or oysters are lowered into its aquarium. The boxes have the flags of the two countries competing. Paul, the psychic octopus eats the food of the team which is going to win. It doesn't favour Germany or anything of that sort (as it is from Germany). It did say that Spain would win the semis against Germany and later predicted that Spain is going to win WC 2010!!!But... there is another expert animal at astrology. Mani, the parakeet in Singapore has predicted that Netherlands are going to win the finals.
